How To Back Up Your Xbox 360 Games
The following drives can be purchased, installed in your PC, then flashed with one of Kreon's alternate firmware for reading Xbox 360 games.
SH-D162C (IDE)
TS-H352C (IDE)
SH-D163A (SATA)
TS-H353A (SATA)
Note: SH-D162C and TS-H352C are the same drive with different model number. SH-D163A and TS-H353A are the same drive with different model number.
Buy a Pioneer DVR-111D Dual Layer DVD
Burner, I got Mine
HERE: If you already have a DVD Burner that can do
Dual Layer Media then you do not need to buy a new one.
Buy Verbatim DVD+R DL Media, I got Mine
HERE:
Install both drives on Same IDE ribbon, 111D on end of ribbon and set as Master
and the SH-D162C or D163A (or any other drive you got from the above 4 choice)
on the Middle ribbon slot and set as slave.
Download Kreon v08.1 firmware (HERE
for SH-D162C and TS-H352C or
HERE for
SH-D163A and TS-H353A)
and install on the D162C or D163A ,The SH-D162C or D163A Will not create a 360
.ISO image without Kreon's v08.1 firmware!!!!!
The stock 1.23fw that came with my 111D works Perfect for the Burner.
Now Download and Install "Schtrom
Extract 3.2." or "
Xbox Backup Creator v2.5" (Both program
will do the job but you only need one of them)
Almost Home Now!
Put your 360 Game into the D162C or D163A drive, Open
Xbox Backup Creator v2.5 It will look
like THIS:

Hit the START Button: and Chose folder to save the file in.
Wait till COMPLETE: Remove 360 Game and Close
Xbox Backup Creator v2.5 .
Now Put one of your Verbatim DL DISC into the 111D, Open
Xbox Backup Creator v2.5 AGAIN and click the
WRITE Tab. It will look like THIS:

Select or Highlight the 111D in the Drop down Menu for the Optical Drive, Hit
Start Button, Select the File in the Folder that you just Backed up your
original game in.
Wait till Complete.
Remove Backup, and Enjoy!
